Located throughout the state and featuring renowned institutions, such as Stanford University and the University of Southern California, this group of colleges and universities includes nearly 28,000 faculty members and over 350 degree programs. Many specialize in a particular academic focus, such as technology or liberal arts, while others cater to characteristics of the student body, such as faith or gender.
